Agricultural Education & Communications

Adebayo Adeoti, M.A.

Ph.D. Student, Texas Tech University Graduate Research Assistant, Office of Outreach & Engagement Founder, BAGSfarm

I work at the intersection of agricultural education, youth development, and community engagement — from founding an agribusiness and launching a pilot 4-H club in Nigeria to evaluating community-engaged programs in Texas. Originally from Nigeria, I bring a global perspective to everything I do, and my growing interests sit where agriculture meets AI and technology.

About

Adebayo Adeoti, M.A., is a PhD student in Agricultural Education and Communications and a Graduate Research Assistant with the Office of Outreach & Engagement at Texas Tech University. Originally from Nigeria, Adebayo brings a global perspective to his work in agricultural education and community engagement.

He comes to the O&E team with more than five years of experience in agricultural education, youth development, and community outreach in both Nigeria and the United States. His background includes founding and leading Bani Agribusiness Solutions (BAGSfarm), launching a pilot 4-H club in Nigeria, and working with schools and community partners to create hands-on learning opportunities in agriculture. In his current role, he supports community-engaged projects such as the Hank the Cowdog Student-Directed Research initiative, the Families in Ranching Succession Toolkit (FIRST), and visitor studies at the National Ranching Heritage Center — focusing on program evaluation, data collection, and reporting that help partners use evidence to improve their work.

In his spare time, Adebayo enjoys playing soccer and pool, staying active, spending time with loved ones, and listening to a wide range of music — with Afrobeats as a favorite.
